Featured in our newest arrivals is the Seville print; an encapsulation of long days and hot nights spent exploring the sun-kissed streets and crystal blue waters of Spain’s Andalusian Region.

The Seville print emulates rose-filtered memories of trips gone by and days spent admiring the architecture and tiling iconic of Andalusian Spain. Its inclusion in our collection pays tribute to the intricate patterns and jewel-inspired colour palettes distinctive to traditional Moorish designs.

The roots of this architecture and tiling date back to the Northern African Moorish rule of Andalusia from the late 800’s to the early 1500’s.

Despite their later expulsion from Spanish land, the influence of Moorish culture on the region’s art and architecture remains wonderfully apparent to this day. The buildings of cities such as Seville remain adorned with intricate detailing and decorative tiling - a sight to be marvelled at.
