PALM left the confines of the house for a weekend of isolation in Bali’s The River House; an oasis of luxury in the rice fields of Pererenan. The sounds of running water & birds by the river are enough to know you’ve escaped the busy Bali life and are truly isolated. Waking up to sunrises spotted through coconut trees and a cup of Canggu blend coffee, we’d forgotten our lives back home & found a new one.

The River House, a villa nestled in the Pererenan jungle with views of the rice fields & rivers, only minutes from breaking ocean waves. The designer villa offers a contemporary 25m pool, outdoor dining areas & lawn space surrounded by palm trees. You can ease into the morning with fresh pancakes and a massage and settle down at night watching the sunset as it seeps through the large rendered glass windows.

Minimalism is captured in the essence of The River House's European modern aesthetic. Interiors finished with grey marble, natural stone & timber flooring. Transitioning from the heat of the poolside to the interior space is made easy with cool & calming furnishings and open plan living areas with spacious bedrooms.

The River House was home to PALM while we soaked up the sun and turned our clocks to island time. It was the quintessential environment for our PALM girls to laze around in our favourite PALM pieces of the season, loose count of the days and take in everything The River House had to offer us.
